About Us

Hotel Acoma was founded on July 17, 2004, and from its opening the hotel has received only praise for its innovative approach to accomodation and tourism in Otavalo. Located near the majestic Imbabura Volcano, and vibrant Otavalo market, the hotel consists of a three story building, which stretches across a total area of about 700 m2. Acoma's classic dark wood interior and lofty windows transform this City Of Heaven into a light-infused, amicable space where guest can relax and enjoy themselves.

Perhaps the most interesting feature of the Acoma Hotel, however, is the unique architectural concept that integrates traditional and modern, infusing the Acoma with a colonial-andean touch that has rescued local symbology. Indeed this property of the Cotacachi Pineda brothers, members of the music group Charijayac, is a unique and luxurious space to come and stay.
